Comic Poop Issue 1

Comic Poop is a quick rundown of what comics I've been reading. Sure, it might not be exactly up to date, but it should at least be current. Who knows, there might be some classics too.

                                                                       Lando #1

Lando is the newest book in the Marvel Star Wars universe. I've been keeping up with all of them and they all seem to NAIL the Star Wars feel, and this comic is no different. It feels like the Lando Calrissian we all know and love, and it is absolutely dripping with charm. The first issue starts off with a heist story with a fun twist at the end. We also get to see a ton of Lobot, everyone's favorite cyborg from Empire Strikes Back.

                                                                       Bizarro #2

Bizarro started off with a very solid number one. The story of Jimmy Olsen taking Bizarro to Bizarro America (Canada!) is a great buddy road trip comedy book. The second issue takes place right after the first, where the storyline is numbered backwards for extra sillies. After the battle with King Tut, the used car salesman, they are back on their journey traveling across the DC Universe to all the major cities. I wish they had spent more time in each, but the high point of it for me was the food truck in Gotham City called Bat-Dogs, home of the Brat-mobile. I felt like the jokes weren't QUITE as good as the last one, but they still made me smile.

                                                              Archie Versus Predator #4

I am sad that this miniseries is over, but damn was it a great ride! This is the most comic booky and over-the-top ridiculous cross over I've read in quite some time. Each issue seemed to one up the other with ridiculousness. The first issue almost didn't grab me, but the remainder just got better and better. I loved seeing all the cameos and seeing Riverdale citizens armed to the teeth to try and deal with the Predator. The deaths were incredibly ultra violent and amazing. Predator talking in emojis was also brilliant. Great read.
